Introduction
Spatial & Wayfinding
My wayfidning practice
To me, wayfinding is not just about orientation, branding, or aesthetics. It is about gentle guidance — shaping how people move, feel, and behave in a place, and ultimately influencing the quality of the overall experience.
My approach is holistic and behaviour- and value-based, with a strong focus on creating friendly, non-confrontational environments. I design wayfinding systems that help people intuitively understand and navigate complex spaces through clear, empathetic communication and spatial logic.
My design practice
My studio Forlæns (Forward) focuses on the wide field of communication design and my work spans spatial, digital, and printed design.
As an independent designer and wayfinding specialist, I enjoy collaboration with clients, project teams and partners creating solutions that are relevant with a sense of purpose. I often lead the design process from early brief through to final delivery, aligning diverse stakeholder and decision-maker interests while ensuring solutions are both robust and realistically implementable.
