CASE — Wayfinding & Environmental Design

From Reception to Wayfinding

At Jenagade’s iconic studios, the traditional reception was replaced with a dynamic signage system, designed to guide visitors seamlessly through the building while reflecting the unique character of its multiple creative inhabitants.

A SEAMLESS WELCOME

Navigating a Multi-Studio House

The iconic studios at Jenagade decided to replace the traditional reception with signage. The goal was to create a seamless transition, welcoming visitors in the hall and providing an overview before they navigated the building to find the company, studio, or person they came for.

One challenge was leading a development process with multiple stakeholders, ensuring everyone was heard and that the solutions made sense for all the building’s inhabitants.

The solution was a custom signage system with tailor-made wooden signs, treated with durable lacquer and flexible folio text.

The system is kept in black and white to accommodate the multiple visual identities in the house and to complement existing elements such as stair rails and other structures.
